Sketching on the go... Forgot to share this. A random man in a cafe/bookstore. I enjoyed the tea I got, and did a little sketch. Also got some new books... Taking life slow right now... Also a fountain... #sketching #nurnberg

Feeling nostalgic today and listening to 90ties German punk rock... because it was a good time and we need more of that energy today! "It's not your fault that the world is how it is, but it would be your fault if it stays that way." "Es ist nicht deine Schuld, dass die Welt ist, wie sie ist. Es wär' nut deine Schuld, wenn sie so bleibt." Die Ärzte, Deine Schuld #music #nostalgia

Another hand drawn map that my #dnd players are currently discovering... actually they're done and it's why I can post it now. They've encountered some bandits while being on a very important mission, found some treasures in the little ruin and got attacked by crocodiles the little wizard almost stepped on in the little lake! What a dangerous jungle road this is! Feel free to use it in your adventures. Tips on Kofi are welcome. #ttrpg #map #ink #drawing #traditionalArt...

Painted another tiny landscape in #watercolour Postage stamp for size reference. Weather currently is so hot, that layering and painting is tricky, but painting is still fun. Even more in tiny sizes. #art #artist #miniature #watercolor #landscape #painting

Another map my lovely players went through yesterday. It was fun, it was chaotic, prayers were prayed and specters were killed. Who do the graves belong to and what's in the tower? That will remain a mystery for now... But if you want to use the map in your stories in #foundryvtt feel free to. It's hand drawn, ink on paper. I use the grid from foundry, the road was about 2-3 squares wide. Overall... everyone survived. Have fun on your adventures! #ttrpg #rpg #dnd #map #ink #...

Google cofounder Sergey Brin has spent $102 million to fight California’s proposed billionaire tax—he could owe $13 billion if he loses Proposition 40, which will be on the ballot in November, would impose a one-time, 5% tax on California’s 200 billionaires, These fucks will do anything to avoid paying taxes… with 90% of the revenue from the proposed measure going toward the state’s health care program and 10% going toward education, food assistance, and administration. Brin, with a net w...

The worst part of re-reading fics for me is that sometimes I have a fic I really love but the writer was clearly a bit new at first and so the writing at the beginning is a bit wonky, but they clearly steadily improve as they move through the chapters. The Problem, is I always forget the early chapters are a little wonky every time I re-read and I’m like “Hrm, this isn’t what I remember…oh wait, it’s because I’m at the beginning. Whoops.”

Ok, look, I know nothing about mandarin as a language except the few xianxia words I’ve picked up from reading webnovels. But I do know languages, and I know the way they…drift over long periods of time. So, all the Luo Binghe fics where he comes to modern Beijing, or hell canon with our transmigrators, I’m assuming there’s potentially a thousand years of linguistic drift between Binghe and Shen Yuan. How is it they always understand each other perfectly, just Binghe speaking with archaic phrasi...

It’s Yuri On Ice 10th Anniversary this week, so of course I’m celebrating in my own quiet way, mostly by re-reading my favorite canon-verse fics, though plan to try to watch some anime tonight. Anyway, just had a thought. I’ve seen a few fics over the years where Yurio wins Onsen on Jce and Victor goes to become his coach & is separated from Yuuri and everyone is sad until they finally get reunited by skating somehow. But! What if Yurio wins onsen on ice, and Victor goes back to Russia...

A new build of littleFedi (2026.10.13) is out! We've made several changes based on reports from our friends on this instance, feedback from those who have started self-hosting, and code reviews by the Little Computer People. Here's a non-exhaustive changelog: Alt text changed while editing a post from a Mastodon client (Mastodon web, Phanpy, Elk, Ivory, Tusky and others) was silently dropped. It is now saved and sent to other servers with the edit. Alt text of images already atta...
