I don't trust AI generated code and that creates a situation where I don't trust any free software code from public repositories without fully reading the source code anymore. I've started ignoring and skipping packages created since 2024.
Prohibiting pushing AI generated code to public repositories doesn't change my feeling.

@hdante@mastodon.social You can’t stop the AI generated code from getting into the repositories really by just changing the commit rules of the project, but can you rely on the skill and honesty of a human developer either.
