For me, I only make a point to closely follow the activity of a few close friends. But there's also a huge amount of important stuff going on around me, stuff to follow and try to absorb, but far too much to interact with on an individual level. There is, then, a tradeoff. And I'm already spending much time away from work, family, physical activity. So I scroll, quickly.
