1/4 — Detecting potentially vulnerable RSA keys with ECGS-RSA ECGS-RSA can identify potentially vulnerable RSA public keys by detecting significant structural anomalies. When all three ALERT levels are triggered, the detected anomaly is particularly pronounced and may indicate that the RSA modulus is susceptible to factorization. Such a result constitutes a strong diagnostic signal, although it does not, by itself, establish factorability.

2/4 — Relationship with the ROCA vulnerability When ECGS-RSA detects a severe anomaly, the next step is to test whether the key is affected by the known ROCA vulnerability. A positive ROCA result may indicate that the corresponding RSA modulus can be factored using previously established methods. This is a documented class of cryptographic weakness, rather than a newly discovered attack.
