@afewbugs@social.coop I read the article and saw that the data it's based on came from 2010ish. I was disappointed in the Grauniad for its therefore clickbaity headline. While objectively all the negatives mentioned might still stand now - and I agree with all the points you make about trade-offs (which put me in mind of the cloth nappy debate) and reduction in meat eating and so on - I'd like to see a similar study based on much more recent data.
