@georgetakei There's nothing to get to the bottom of or investigate. Much of Trump's corruption and that of his family has been extremely public and well documented. We need a commitment for removal from office and prosecution for his crimes.

@georgetakei A good start would be to investigate Trump's personal lawsuits -- and private settlements -- of his bogus claims against the USG. He controls both sides of the transaction, an inherent and unwaivable conflict of interest. He will have secretly settled in his favor - rather than go to trial - for more than a hundred million. He's about to do that again with the IRS.

@georgetakei that may take a while. Not even joking, that is going to be a lot of work to sort out and correct.

@georgetakei but they'll mysteriously stop following the trail of corruption when it leads to the same benefactors-in-common we desperately need an end to USA-imperialism and an end to extreme centralisation of wealth (the reasons we have Epstein and wars), and the Democrats are just as unlikely to pursue that as the Republicans

@georgetakei This entire administration, including people who aren’t a part of it but have raked in billions, are likely never going to be touched. There are too many. It’s the whole “teacher can’t suspend the whole class” thing. At best, a few of the worst offenders will lose their jobs. Edit: Sorry, this sounds so defeatist of me. I sincerely hope democrats will do something.

@georgetakei like they did every previous time that party won? I think it's a 1-party system

@georgetakei Believe it when I see it. The democrats always seem to drop the ball when it comes to accountability for the wealthy or the corrupt.

@georgetakei When seen, believed. Until then, just words. I don't trust any politician. And I consider the Democrats to be the new Right wing, and all GOP to be far right and irredeemable. We need to abolish the fascists and form a new Left wing party to bring us back into progressive ideals.

@georgetakei We've heard this kind of promise many times in the past. I'll believe it when it's *actually* happening.
