@Synchro my uk number has been on an O2 payg sim. It sat in my old iPhone4 on my desk until 3G was switched off and I had to move it to an SE with a cracked screen. I have had to top it up about £20 in the last 7 years. Topping up from nz is now problematic, but there are ways around it.
