I’m in Leyawiin and one Argonian gentleman told me this rumour. Turns out the lady isn’t dead but cursed with a Daedric staff that summoned scamps to her house and they just follow her around! I really like how not so dark and medieval these games are when what has happened to someone is actually not the worst possible thing but a fun new quest for me to figure out. I’m so happy I started this second round with Morrowind, because that game became an instant favorite once I figured it out. And now I can say that Oblivion absolutely will follow suit!
