started "Village in the Shade" and for a cozy game it's creepy af already. Imagine Rune Factory but set on Summerisle from "The Wicker Man" 😅 the way it messes with the cozy game tropes, you're an amnesiac child working a plot of land in a village of strangers. the villagers seem friendly enough but some of them act vaguely threatening towards you and you just know there's some weird shit going on behind the facade. especially the way the village chief is all like "you will work this land or we will kick you out and you will starve in the mountains" when I assume you're around six years old??? it looks (and sounds) absolutely *gorgeous* too. I am in love with this game already #NintendoSwitch
