@david_castleton does that count as a nocebo? Or is there some other term to explain negative outcomes of irrational beliefs?

@adamantichrist First time I've ever heard the term 'nocebo'. I'd imagine the accidents came first then people linked it to the road's numbering and the legends grew up.
