I can hear a cat meowing loudly behind the door of my neighbor. I can hear a TV too. I have an over-active imagination and worry they are sick in there and so I'm going to try knocking and asking the doormen if they have seen them?
Am I paranoid?
I think so maybe a little.

@futurebird@sauropods.win Three times over the years I have knocked on a neighbor's door due to possible DV. One time it really was just that, and while the mom (the victim) didn't want to do anything she seemed grateful, if nervous, that I was asking if she was "okay" due to the "noise at night." Once it was just two teenage boys fighting-- dumb, but we don't need the police for that. And once it was just chaos involving the dog. All three times my neighbors were embarrassed but grateful I checked on them.
