When I was a teenager, my friends were mostly adults. I found people my age vapid and dull. Virtually all of them were fine. The only adults who abused me were the ones my mother let into the house. I knew not to talk to people who just wanted to fuck me. Yet here we are, in 2026, and people are working tirelessly to isolate children, which is only serving to make them less safe. They lack role models now and people to tell them how to avoid groomers, and half of the parents I see these days hand their kid an iPad and tell them "good luck lol". Sometimes I wonder if we will soon live in a world where having children is considered weird because only a "pervert" would want to have children.
