@Gargron@mastodon.social my Grandpa had the Britannica. It was beautiful in the shelf, taking a huge space.
I recall the paper was very thin so we were not allowed to flip the pages without his supervision.

@Gargron@mastodon.social I just remembered that the part about the human body was really beautiful. A set of transparent pages and as you turned, you would remove the skin and see the muscles, then the organs, the the skeleton.
