@swachter@toot.boston check out if it's compatible with inkstitch (or whatever other embroidery software you'd like to use). 10x10cm is quite limiting after you get into the swing of it. Secondhand throws up some serious bargains (in the US). make sure your local sewing shop can help service it. See if you can try some out at the sewing shop or if your local library has one.

@triploidtree@mastodon.ie @swachter@toot.boston Library is a great tip. I'm constantly amazed at what mine has available in their maker space. (Not an embroidery sewing machine. I think. But I could be wrong, and your local library may!) Edit: correcting autocorrect time to tip, which is what I typed grrr.
