@dantheclamman@scicomm.xyz Oh, they are not dumb. Use to have a large tank with several fancy goldfish. They would get very excited when I came in the room and swim to the top looking for food. However, they’d ignore my kids and were lukewarm towards my wife and mother-in-law.

@KanaMauna@sauropods.win @dantheclamman@scicomm.xyz They also have color constancy, so they can identify the same colors under varying lighting conditions. Gd fish are almost as cool as cuttlefish!
