#AlternateFridayMusic for October 23 2026 the theme is "Remix" Artist: They Might Be Giants Album: Miscellaneous T (1991) Song: The World's Address (Joshua Fried Remix) I first heard TMBG's first two albums because of a friend on the Internet (back in 1992) who mailed me some tapes of her favourite music. She loved "The World's Address", and I tried to, but I found it kind of meh. And then I heard this version on the B-sides compilation "Miscellaneous T" and I found it much more interesting. All sorts of found-sound samples, spicing up the duller parts of the song. No idea who Joshua Fried is (is it "freed" or "fried"?) but good job. #music #TheyMightBeGiants
