@argv_minus_one@mastodon.sdf.org That's true. Part of the problem is that I haven't found an overall aesthetic I like for the sprites in this game yet. It might be that a black outline would work just fine with later versions. (One possibility is to just go for more FF-like sprites, or I guess nowadays more like Octopath Traveler. But I don't want to just copy that style outright, and I don't think it would quite work at the specific battlefield scale and resolution I'm using.)
