#AlternateFridayMusic for September 11 2026 the theme is "Parody" Artist: Weird Al Yankovic Album: Polka Party (1986) Song: Dog Eat Dog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuSlrEoPWoQ Yes, I know that somebody already posted a Weird Al song, but that was just a regular parody. I'm always more impressed by his "style parodies" where he's trying to encompass a band's style as a whole rather than a particular song. I didn't always notice these at first, and this may have been one of the first I actually identified as such. It is, of course, aimed at Talking Heads, particularly around the "Little Creatures" area, maybe as far back as "Remain In Light". #music #WeirdAlYankovic
