Goddamn how are the Democrats so bad at politics? FFS, even if the national party is cool with looking the other way on anti-trans politicians, at least don’t fund it. And especially don’t fund it openly under the banner of the whole party. Is it too much to ask for them to have a little shame? In a world of dark money they just decide to plaster the DCCC on it. Can’t say I ever trusted the DCCC to be a good shepherd of money, but I did kind of assume they’d use it poorly in ways that made the party look like it stood for nothing rather than proactively standing for transphobia.
