Only the white straight Christian man thinks the civil war was resolved, because for him it was. For everyone else, tyranny and oppression by the straight white Christian man continues. Our democracy is a facade providing an illusion of choice that ensures that those in power remain in power. We're traded a monarchy for an oligarchy in 1776 and it's not working for the people either
