@octothorpe@mastodon.online Yeah, this is definitely a case of overloaded english, because I'm mostly talking about access; I want people to be able to engage with whatever they want! But when they do things like interact with 30 year old ideas/services like they're new it's weird! Generically I even think a certain amount of gatekeeping is good, but think that it should be limited to things like doing the reading, for example :3
