In the past few months, or rather, since Covid, I can rarely find the peace of mind and sit down, to seriously do something. There's always this anxiety, almost a panic, that something horrible might explode. It feels like it's been years since I had a good night's sleep.
Visiting parks and green spaces only helped a little. These places often packed with people. From time to time you saw tragedies in some other forms there too.
Walking the streets at midnight helped a little. Finally very few people around, and you can hear all kinds of insects singing. Trees cast beautiful shadows.
Raining days helped a little. It drowns most of the other city noises.
So if timing right, I could have a good combination. Late at night, raining, in the trees, (sometimes pitch black but I carry lights), walking.
