@mosgaard It's all about latency. When I started on digital back in the early 2000's it was purely an interface issue. Running Cubase on Windows I had all kinds of issues with it, even after they created their ASIO "standard" drivers in an effort to solve the issue. So I switched to Apple because CoreAudio eliminated all of those issues. Interface builders could concentrate on their hardware knowing the OS would handle the mundane issues at the bottom end. .../2
