I'm getting predatory "write a bunch of fiction for $750" emails again only now they're *explicitly* using AI: "We use AI-assisted translation with human review and AI-generated initial covers. Manuscripts...are not provided to third parties for AI training."

looked into this further because a writer friend was tempted by the "easy" money & looks like this company is trying to get writers to provide them content to train their own writing AI that will then scam other writers (and/or readers) and I just want to say...there are better ways to make $
