Rendering [Rule] I started it around noon, then did some running around until about 3, Blender crashed after I left. (My system uptime was over 60 days at that point, so that’s my fault) I started it again from a couple frames before it crashed, an hour later I went on a date and got back around 9. As I was about to leave I saw a text from my roommate saying that we lost power at 4:30. When the power came back at 10ish I started it again. Only about 2000 frames to go out of the 14472 fram...

***scoffs*** Writing things down?!? If you do that you'll cease to exercise your memory and will grow to rely on external means. Back in my day we built our memory. (If you're not familiar this was basically Socrates' (as portrayed by Plato) view on writing things down)

It's everyone every time not just those that seldom do it. It sounds like a champagne cork popping while a goat bleats into a megaphone. If you're wondering why you haven't heard it yet it's because it's like your nose in the edge of your vision, once someone points it out your brain doesn't filter it anymore. At least for a little while.

As the other commenter said, it's one of the other belts not the timing belt. If the timing belt slips the engine dies in quick order. Far louder and with a great degree of violence. This is the first time it's happened on my shitbox and funnily enough it's only 10k miles before when I planned to do all the belts (My car has 4 belts including timing). I do them every 60k miles as a preventative measure primarily because I have to remove all of them to get to the timing belt, and sin...

I'm hoping it's the belt but it does have a significant amount of miles on it and the items on the belt have held on so far.

The brakes are a major thing to fix and you should def get that fixed (or do it yourself) in quick order. And at least on my Kia that aircon belt is the deepest belt in the engine bay, it's a bitch to get to. It's why whenever I do my timing belt I do all the belts at the same time, no matter how bad or not they look. I don't wanna deal with getting in there a second time lol

There's literally a running joke where I work called the "Union Shit". You run to the bathroom to take a 15 - 20 minute shit between your breaks. Whether or not you're actually shitting or just shitposting is between you and those walls lol
