UX request level impossible: when there's a field with autocompletion, if I keep adding letters which are consistent with the currently selected autocompleted entry, that entry does NOT change, especially not in the moment i press enter to confirm.

It's the year 2026. I still cannot reliably set a breakpoint in JavaScript on a source-mapped file where I want if I dare use an arrow function without braces, a functionalities which is available in browsers since about, i don't know, something like ELEVEN YEARS.

"Autistici/Inventati" is a small but very active group of Italian hacktivists whose purpose is to offer the technological infrastructure for digital rights, especially to left-wing organizations and groups. RE: https://tldr.nettime.org/@tante/117444990857312231 What I find most interesting is a phrase like «This is NOT some kind of “social warrior” project, never has been, and never will be.». If you lurk on /r/linux, you can see the general right-wing sentiment growing, complaining about "political" or social issues getting raised. There is a clear, slow direction that the leadership of the project is taking, and, in his words, "the genie is out of the bottle".

The latest game poem by @alienmelon hits so hard. It's time to throw the horrors away and plant gentle flowers.
