Just an armchair chieftain trying to make sense of world politics and conflicts. 100% pro-Ukraine, 100% pro-democracy.

Born and raised in Sweden. Exported to Canada. Lived about half my life in Canada. I love both countries.

The profile picture is a replica of a Viking helmet. And no, the Vikings didn't have horns on their helmets. That was introduced in Wagner's opera The Ring of the Nibelung.

The header picture is of the Viking castle in Trelleborg, Sweden. It's also called Trelleborgen.

Wes O'Donnell discusses how a US intelligence cutoff could affect Ukraine's strikes on Russian oil refineries. He argues that Ukraine has developed alternative intelligence sources through European and Japanese partners, commercial satellites, and its own systems. Losing US support would weaken strikes on mobile targets but could push Ukraine to focus more on fixed Russian oil infrastructure, potentially disrupting fuel production, exports, and revenue. https://www.youtube.com/w...
