Sorry not sorry I picked up this 18mm Color-Skopar at a price I couldn’t pass up. It’s practically brand new for just over half the retail price. https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-09-14-15-30

Reading through the credits on an old record of mine, I’ve only just realised Adolf Noise is a pseudo of DJ Koze. I really like his work but I hadn’t a clue. 😳 https://www.discogs.com/release/415515-Various-Pudel-Produkte-1 https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-09-18-10-44

Did you know that, on a coat of arms, hatching and patterns indicate a colour? - Vertical lines: red (gules) - Horizontal lines: blue (azure) - Descending diagonals: green (vert) - Ascending diagonals: purple (purpure) - Dots: yellow (or) - Crossed vertical and horizontal lines: black (sable) - Plain white background: white (argent) When the web meets heraldry 🛡️💕 https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-09-30-08-36

One of my latest daft ideas, after discovering that the Swiss Handball Federation had an API: make a teletext-style page for my kids’ club showing live results, league tables and so on... :dramatic_look: https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-10-22-21-11

We went to the pictures last week. We hadn’t been for ages. It was brilliant having the place to ourselves. I suppose that’s because the film was already on streaming platforms 🤦‍♂️ https://alienlebarge.ch/photos/2026-10-26-21-25

Here's a #TapestryApp connector that hooks up #Miniflux (a minimalist RSS reader) to your Tapestry timeline. I'm using it for my own stuff, but feel free to give it a spin and use it! 😉 👉 https://github.com/alienlebarge/tapestry-miniflux-connector https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-02-21-15-24

On Monday, our son broke his tibia while skiing, and it showed me that people are good and kind. Thank you to them. - The skier who helped me move him off the slope to safety on the terrace of the mountain restaurant a few dozen meters away. - The person who ran over to bring us a chair so he would be more comfortable. - The ski patroller who took care of him and brought him down to the gondola on a snowmobile. - The gondola staff who lifted our spirits and did everything they could so we could...

Someone's selling a Voigtländer Ultron 27mm f2 for a good price. I gotta say, I'm tempted. But besides the aperture and size, what's the difference compared to the Nokton 23mm f1.2 that I've also been eyeing? Do you guys have any thoughts? https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-03-08-23-02

MD Thermochrome (https://www.futurefonts.com/mass-driver/thermochrome) by @mass_driver is a font I'm kicking myself for not buying sooner. It's too pricey for me now. It's quirky, technical, and fun... basically everything I love Go check out their fonts. MD IO (which I got in v0.1) is the first font I install for coding and all nerdy stuff. → https://mass-driver.com https://alienlebarge.ch/notes/2026-03-11-06-32
