If you look at a graph visualising a set of numbers, then decide to add an extra number (perhaps because there&#39;s money to be made), so just average them and include the new invention, the only thing that&#39;s achieved is a reason for people to distrust all the numbers. Because it&#39;s unlikely before all this you checked none of the individual numbers equals the average of all the rest if its removed. To see that the you weren&#39;t first. Blocking by website link is worth caring about because for something like blocking news aggregator bots linking to a news and opinions mill with a glut of midwit college grads waiting to explain shit they're clueless about to the world (eg Hacker News) you're achieving nothing, new y combinator bots are made every day. The "in London you're never more than 20' away from a rat" soundbite equivalent for Fediverse is "On Mastodon you're never more than 30 mins aw...
