Well, that was a great evening of music at the #PavilionTheatre; a mix of jigs, reels, polkas and other tunes. If you can catch any of the remaining gigs for Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Pauline Scanlon, Tom Morrow, and John Doyle, highly recommended. The only downside is the Pavilion isn't set up for dancing along! https://www.musicnetwork.ie/whats-on/muireann-nic-amhlaoibh-pauline-scanlon-tom-morrow-john-doyle

Tried out #slow #travel from Ireland to France and back via the W.B. Yeats and #IrishFerries. So much less stress than flying, even if it was a bit rock-and-roll off of Land's End on both trips. Most of the faff was at the Cherbourg end too, about as organised as Lufthansa for the departure process with exit checks. Would do again. The time needed is a luxury though, and I can see it being a blocker for many compared to a flight.

No Laya, auth codes via #email is not #MFA. It's a complete bollocks of a solution; even SMS codes are better (barely) because they at least mean the user has a second device to auth the request instead of a random email account that might already be compromised from password reuse.

Can someone please accidentally invite Mr Altman to look inside an upcoming rocket, accidentally push him in, accidentally close the hatch, and accidentally change the programming so it slingshots for the Kuiper Belt or something (not the sun, it doesn't deserve that)? Claiming people should stop trying to have their own RAM, that it's better in a data centre. Fucks sake.
