  App Review has rejected the new Pixelfed app two more times, once because of a login issue and the most recent, because we need to add an Account Delete button. While I have that all fixed and ready to re-submit, I am now working on designing a new set of App Store images because the current ones are now outdated. I will let you know the status of our iOS app once they review it again.

  One last post before bed, been a wildly productive night btw, so I'm working on a new FEP for Stories! Stories are not just ephemerial posts that get deleted after 24h, they can also contain interactive layers (like mentions, hashtags, polls, urls) that require support across UI and federation. We also send StoryView activities to inform the author about who viewed it, and it works great. Replies are DMs that show the Story and "x replied to your story". More deets soon!

  The whole Pixelfed AI fiasco had nothing to do with me using AI, it was about 3rd party contributors. When your at this level, you don't need AI, it only gets in your way. So back in 2023, I shipped a Naive Bayes spam classifier in Pixelfed that worked well to detect spam posts, I'm only bringing this up because these accusations of AI use are pretty ignorant, and clearly ignore the years of progress before LLMs could code. https://pixelfed.blog/p/2023/feature/autospam-and-naive-bayes...
