The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to a Venezuelan woman today and the WH is ketchup splattered because women don't deserve anything.

It appears that Bluesky is down. Also, Verizon customers are having issues, and The US is going to stop processing immigration visas from 75 countries. Protests in MN are continuing, and the Ford worker is getting tons of contributions to his GoMEFund. Just another day in a insane regime.

The other day Bluesky's new CEO spoke about 'opening up' the site to 'alternative audience' which in other language means the X crowd. Needless to say, if this happens Mastodon will suddenly gain a lot more users. Just came by to check my notifications and approve them. I might be back faster because of the above circumstances.

I don't post very often any more on my blog, but I took pains to write this. https://fmhilton.wordpress.com/2026/08/24/thoughts-on-a-remembrance/

Bluesky is officially down. It's asking for a login from me when I was on there not 10 minutes ago. How am I supposed to remember my password you twits? Fuck their tech staff. That's not the way to run a social media site! If you can't do it properly you should go out of business.

Android's strength was its decentralized nature. Google's plan to mandate central registration for every single app developer destroys that. We must resist this centralization of power. @keepandroidopen #KeepAndroidOpen https://keepandroidopen.org

@RickiTarr Hope you're independently wealthy because your mortgage is going up, your job is going away and your car is not insurable any more.
