Building Groove has taught me a lot about mobile app design and SwiftUI. It’s been fun to iterate and improve the look and feel over the last few months, addressing feedback as well as pain points I’ve come across using it myself every day. The next update is, I think, the best looking version so far. I’ll need to redo 1 or 2 screenshots for the App Store though and I’m dreading that. 😭 #swiftui

@mattiem@mastodon.social Count me in! I’ve also been contemplating whether I should even renew my paid developer account when it comes up in April, I pretty much just have it to notarize my tiny open source projects.

I do track my medication because I can never remember if I take it and I’ll often put off taking my medication just so I don’t have to go through the minimal effort of marking it as taken.

Honestly, if I had to pick the one bottleneck to the performance of the M2 for me, its the RAM being capped at 24GB. But swap on the M-series Macs is so good that, in the rare cases it comes to that, I barely notice.

Ugh had to edit this post because apparently copying a gif from websites like Tenor doesn’t actually copy the gif. How has something as simple as sharing fun little animated images become so enshittified!?!

@crazyeddie@mastodon.social I’ve personally found Vite easier to work with. Especially with Typescript.

Groove, my offline music player for iPhone, is rolling out on the App Store! 🎉 It’s available only as a one-time purchase. No subscriptions! To celebrate, I’ve made it 50% off for the first week, and it will go up to full price on March 21st. https://apps.apple.com/app/groove-local-music-player/id6759224962 #ios #iphone #music #musicplayer #nosubscription

Today marks 7 months of unemployment and I am very much down to the wire. I am a full-stack & backend web developer, fluent in TypeScript, with experience building data-focused applications and both SQLite and Postrges databases. I have experience working and successfully collaborating with small, remote teams. Boosts are appreciated. 🙏 #FediHire #webdev #typescript #backenddevelopment #fullstackdevelopment
