What I thought was a failed GU10 LED light bulb was not. Yes, the terminals are GU10, but my GU10 replacement did not fit properly. Notice that hole in the ceramic body between the terminals. That hole, or barrier mechanism, mates with a lump in the light fitting and makes this an L1 light bulb. It also makes it twice the cost too! An L1 bulb will fit in a GU10 fitting, but not the other way around... yet again, the minor details are critical!

Loving my new digital calipers. Went for a more expensive set as it had an actual on/off button. Used it to help me with the measurements for a quarter wavelength ESP32-C3 Super Mini antenna hack. Needed a piece of solid core wire that was about 0.6mm diameter and 31mm length. Results have been good: 1. The board still works 😀 2. I have seen a 6dB - 10dB improvement in the signal strength of my WiFi network! #ESP32 #AntennaHack

Just got a new DVD player... my previous one needs some &quot;help&quot; as it jumps and stutters enough to really annoy me (cleaning the lens did not make a difference). Anyway, a new player has been dropped in and I am really pleased with it! But I needed to test it, so I selected Harold Lloyd&#39;s first feature length comedy - &quot;Grandma&#39;s Boy&quot;. It is one of his later comedies and was apparently very influential way back in 1922! Thoroughly enjoyed it,...
