    So after an android update last night my phone would not unlock and i ended up doing a factory reset. I came really close to taking the opportunity to install grapheneos but chickened out at the last minute. I did install as much as I could from fdroid though.

    @ElwoodCity@mstdn.ca @ElbowsUpforDigitalSovereignty@thecanadian.social I don&#39;t think you can share tasks with an external calendar, but I believe anytype has a built in calendar. I haven&#39;t explored that though, I primarily use it for shopping lists, notes and trip planning.

    Before attending #fedimtl I always treated mastodon as one big thing. I understood that there are connected instances but it&#39;s thanks to the talk @saskia@backend.newsmast.org gave that I&#39;ve started to see it as a collection of communities who can talk to each other rather than servers on a network.
