  Another cool, crisp, and beautiful autumn morning. Foliage isn't yet quite colorful but we enjoyed a 70-minute walk. 📍 Sweetwater State Park, GA #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm #park #autumn

A long long commute and I'm exhausted. I thought about skipping photo shoots, but here he is. Thanking him for soothing my body and soul. #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm

#TGIF Our yardman, who once was very reliable, has neglected us for almost 3 months with one excuse after another and all of a sudden showed up today. While the yard looks good and Kengo loves it, I'm done with him. I'll have to find another one...drats. Have a good evening and a great weekend, everyone. #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm

It couldn't have been a better day to be outdoors. The usual lake in north GA for my foliage hunting is closed for reconstruction (they had to do it in this photogenic season). I'm glad I checked their site before taking off. Instead, we went to a nearby city park. Spotless sky, and a big autumn harvest festival was going on on the other side. But we chose the quiet side. 📍 Hunter Memorial Park, GA #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm #pa...

#HumpDay Hump day rearview of Kengo, etc. It stays relatively cool at 82f/28c after the rain. Most schools in the state resumed meaning ugly yellow school buses are a nuisance on the road. Coming home today took 80 minutes, ridiculous. #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm #maple #;eaves #trees

So...the day has come. Kengo has had his left leg ACL tear repair surgery today. For those who don't know the story, he had had similar surgery on his right leg in early May. The vet says everything went well and he is ready to be picked up tomorrow. It will be another long recovery period to follow while this old dad's body will be abused while assisting him with mobility, etc. I do hope this is the last surgery he needs🙏 #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photograp...

Another hot day as you can see in the cloud photo. Kengo was fine as in the photos, then a loud thunderstorm came. He freaked out in a very very rare occasion. It's all calm now. One more day. #dog #dogs #DogsOfMastodon #AdoptDontShop #rescuedog #photography #FujiFilm #mobilePhotography
