    Randomly, last March, I got talking to a bloke in a pub, and he told me about an event called &amp;quot;Musicport. A world music festival in Whitby. Turns out, to a wonderful, lovely festival, that has left me in awe. If you ever get a chance to visit do. Yesterday, I watched a talk on Yorkshire kelp farms, then watched a Vietnamese band. After yodelling and poetry.

    Had to complete my &amp;quot;Year End&amp;quot; review today, I mean I received &amp;quot;my goals&amp;quot; in March and one of the key updates we were required to provide was, &amp;quot;How we have integrated AI into everything we do&amp;quot;. Which I&amp;#39;ve failed to do, as we deal with company IP, client data and PII, so I refuse to ask, or allow the team to use AI. I had to focus on how I help clients, and how happy they are with what I provide. So probably going to be sacked.

    Following the UK annual &amp;quot;bollocks&amp;quot; (aka The Budget), again there&amp;#39;s a massive focus on &amp;quot;the welfare bill&amp;quot;, I&amp;#39;d love there to be as much focus on ongoing government costs, e.g., Pensions, security, other costs (e.g. Food cost versus Schools or hospitals), and I&amp;#39;d love a breakdown of subsidies, because while some subsidies benefit businesses and people working for them, I bet there&amp;#39;s quite a few that people would question - why are...

    Well, this just proves how fucking awful Google and AI is. First image - a request to use Google Gemini, denied. Second image - won&amp;#39;t allow you to continue, unless you approve request number one. Fucking hate American technology.
