  I haven't used Heliboard. Using the built-in kb I still get the bug in qwant.com and ebay.com. But you're right, DDG seems to have been fixed somehow and backspace now works.

  So the question is is that another bug or is this some weird multi OS Firefox bug? From the other comments it looks as it would have something to do with the GOS keyboard but I'm not sure at all. First step would be figuring out where to create the issue...

  Exactly. Also happens on other sites like qwant. Not on google for some reason. So I'm not alone. I think you have the exact same issue then. I never did a capture, but the steps to reproduce are: search for something on qwant or ddg, or just type something on qwant.com search and then try backspace. Bacspace doesn't work on the search form on the page.

  I use the built-in "keyboard". Did you try it on qwant.com search form?
