Finally started playing Stray on the Switch 2. It's pretty charming but maybe not as amazing as the initial hype would suggest. I remember on the day it came out my co-worker couldn't work out why the cat would meow even when they had not pressed the meow button. Turned out their actual cat had been stuck outside at the window for several hours.

This was the most forwarded image in all my whatsapp groups on Sunday morning. A WC game Scotland won against the 2nd lowest ranked team in the tournament but the "terrorball" Steve Clarke plays never gives a moment of relief.

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore" is a famous like from Network (1976) which I only watched for the first time last weekend. However when I was watching it the whole thing seemed familiar like I'd seen a Simpsons parody... which does tend to happen quite often with classic movies. Turns out there was no Simpsons parody so my brain is rotted to the point it is inventing Simpsons gags to explain cultural osmosis.
