@octothorpe@mastodon.online I remember reading in a history book about a man who died from an infection after cutting himself while trimming his toenails. I have a lot of issues with our modern world but I often think about how at least a nick on the toe isn’t going to put us 6 ft under anymore. Unless RFK outlaws antibiotics, who knows?!
