Just found a forgotten flower pot holding some water in a remote corner of the yard. Ironically while refilling planned #mosquitodunk traps. Sorry, @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org :)
Folks, especially after heavy rain, check every corner of your property for standing water. Those #mosquitoes can use very small amounts of water to reproduce.

@marcotietz@infosec.exchange @ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org these new striped ankle biter mosquitos are such a problem because they can lay eggs in a small amount of water (like the downspout tray of a gutter system) and the eggs stay viable when the water dries up - just waiting for a little new rain to hatch.
