Glomar Service Policy
Rules for using Glomar, Elektrine's VPN.
01 How it works
Glomar is Elektrine's VPN. It tunnels traffic between your device and our boxes.
- Alpha (Free tier): Glomar bandwidth is metered per gigabyte using Identity Credits (1 credit = 1 GB).
- Omega (Paid tier): Unmetered bandwidth.
If your account gets suspended or banned for breaking the rules, yGlomar access dies with it.
02 Plans & Speed Caps
Omega costs $6 a month, or $58 for a full year, paid strictly in Monero (XMR).
Because there are no auto-renewing subscriptions, your unmetered Glomar access stops when your paid time runs out, and your account drops back down to Alpha until you top up again.
The default speed cap on Omega is 100 Mbps shared across all devices on your account. That is plenty to stream, browse, and move files without letting one guy with a seedbox saturate an entire 10G port and ruin the node for everyone else. We may adjust the global cap or throttle a specific account if someone is abusing the pipe.
03 Acceptable Use (Don't get our servers seized)
Elektrine runs out of the United States. Anything that is illegal under U.S. federal or state law is banned on Glomar, even if it happens to be legal in whatever country you are connecting from.
We don't log your traffic, which means we rely on our upstream transit providers not pulling the plug on our racks. Do not use Glomar to:
- Break U.S. law or the local laws where you live
- Access, host, or move illegal content
- Touch CSAM / child exploitation material (zero tolerance: if we ever catch wind of it, we report it straight to the authorities)
- Run commercial copyright piracy operations
- Run fraud, carding, identity theft, or financial scams
- Buy or sell illegal goods and services
- Port scan, DDoS, brute-force, or spoof networks from our exit IPs
- Run open proxies, open mail relays, Tor exit nodes, botnets, or C2 servers through the tunnel
- Spread malware, host phishing kits, or run cryptojacking scripts
- Blast spam or scrape contact lists
- Dox, swat, stalk, harass, or threaten people
- Try to bypass the 100 Mbps speed cap or any other quota limit
- Resell yGlomar connection, or hand out your account password or private keys to other people
- Spin up alt accounts to dodge a ban, suspension, or bandwidth cap
- Degrade the network for other users
04 Enforcement
If you break these rules or get abuse complaints sent to our upstream datacenter, we will cut off yGlomar access or nuke your account. We may look into suspected abuse to keep the network online, and we report illegal activity to law enforcement when the law forces us to.
05 Privacy & What Lives on the Node
Glomar follows the exact same zero-IP rule as the rest of Elektrine. We don't sell logs because we don't have logs to sell.
What we NEVER keep:
- Your browsing history or the destination IPs/sites you connect to
- Your DNS queries or raw packet contents
- Your real home/source IP address on the Glomar path
- Anything happening inside the encrypted tunnel
- Connection or disconnection timestamps
- Your WireGuard or AmneziaWG private keys (those are generated locally on your own machine and never touch our servers)
What the server actually holds to make the tunnel work:
- Your WireGuard/AmneziaWG public key and an encrypted pre-shared key for your tunnel profile
- Encrypted credentials for proxy profiles so the node can authenticate you
- Total aggregate byte counters for your account (so the server knows how many Alpha credits you used)
- Which Glomar node your profile is assigned to, and whatever label/name you gave the device
Note on DNS: Glomar profiles use Elektrine's own resolver by default, so your DNS queries do pass through our boxes. They are resolved in memory and never logged to disk.
06 Changes
We may update this policy as the network grows. Keep using Glomar after an update, and you agree to the changes.
This policy is part of the main Elektrine Terms of Service .
