Having major issues with unraveling #crochet work I finished recently as I need the yarn. Maybe because I used double yarn? Never had so much difficulties with ripping previous work.

Slightly cheat-y #finishorfrogalong because I started this yesterday and finished it today 😅 I’ve been wearing my #crochet lanyard at work this week and so far I’ve had to make two of them for colleagues 😅 Genuinely considering selling these now, at work and online, I’m told £10 is a reasonable price.

I don’t know why but I’m very proud of this single #crochet swatch 😅

#introduction update I’ve had a fascination with computers since ~1993 and a Linux addiction since ~2001. I am a licensed general class amateur radio operator. I love to #crochet and #knit while listening to books. I am obsessed with salvaging tech and giving it new life. I am currently a software developer at Comoto (RevZilla, etc.) working on web stuff with elixir and Ruby as the foundation.

Right then, for the first time this year I’m gonna join in with #FinishOrFrogAlong, because for the first time I’ve broken my cardinal monogamy rule of one #knitting and one #crochet WIP at a time, because reasons! So here’s what’s in progress and what the plan is, clockwise from the top left: 1\ a german short row heel sock. This was cast on because my wife dared me to and I should’ve known better 😅 Anyway, I finished one sock and said I won’t do the other until everything else is finished! 2\ waffle stitch crochet blanket. This is a mindless, work-on-it-when-I-don’t-want-to-focus kinda thing. Aim is to finish it by next summer. 3\ Zelda double knit scarf. This one’s a beast, what you see here isn’t even a quarter of the whole thing. I paused it because I had other things to make more urgently. It’ll be my main project after number 4 is done. 4\ my current main project is this jumper with custom yoke design by my son, based on a favourite album of mine. This has to finish by the end of the month as I want to wear it to a live concert next month! So that’s the plan. Finish the jumper, then the scarf, then the sock, while background crocheting the blanket. No frogging!
