#introduction hi, i'm Jux (she/her (they/he ok))! this isn't my first introduction post, i think, but a lot has changed for me so i'm introducing myself again! i'm non-binary (though i lean fem heavily) and arospec bisexual. i am from Chile and am 18. i'm also plural, though that's not a big part of the JuxGD Fediverse Profile Experience. i'm also autistic and have adhd i am an EDM/bass music producer and artist under the alias "Endure". i mainly use FL Studio. i try to focus on making dubstep subgenres like colour bass, future riddim, tearout, and the like. i have several unfinished projects, but i recently released my track "memory of you". it got a shoutout from NHAM and got me scouted on Newgrounds first upload (that means another artist decided i was good enough to appear in the main music portal in Newgrounds) i'm a linux user, i use NixOS and it's been very nice and comfortable. i maintain both flake-based and traditional Nix packaging for different Proton forks and Septabee which is a free and experimental Digital Audio Workstation. speaking of Septabee, i also contributed a lot to its unofficial wiki during its earliest days i play Geometry Dash! i have a @JuxGD@youtube.com. my current hardest level is Acu, and i have 50% on Blade of Justice i also play TETR.IO, a competitive block stacker game (basically Tetris). as of writing this, i'm the top 67 player in Chile! i'm also in charge of GDC, the largest Geometry Dash community on Fluxer, which is a Discord alternative. i've admittedly been pretty inactive but the community has been kept alive by friends who are also staff members. i am currently trying to be active again i also code, somewhat. i like Rust, it's actually a very comfy programming language. i'm not a pro but i can do the basics, i've used Rust to make a Geometry Dash bot for Fluxer along with its dependency gdutils which is a wrapper for several GD related APIs. both projects are very much a work in progress --- now onto the corny part. i think kindness and freedom are important for the world. and i think the current world is largely built on things antithetical to that. so i want to change it, that's part of why i do all these things. i hope to grow more and someday be able to reach a sizeable amount of people and be able to push for what i think is good for everyone. and positively impact people's lives there's also political/ethics stuff, i don't wanna go into detail here but in short: well-being for all, right to privacy, protect the planet, protect art, fight evil --- that's all, i think. thanks for reading all that! #music #musicproduction #lgbt #linux #nix #rust #edm #geometrydash #tetris #gaming #fluxer
