@rebane2001 @CatAClock same. My mom did it all the time, or would try to gaslight me with "how would you know if you've never tried it?" Gee, I don't know mom, maybe by the fact that you ended up wearing it the first two times you pushed me to eat it?

@rnd @davidrevoy except in those games that intentionally give you the option to sell it at a reasonable price and you have to go back thru all the vendors later, hoping to buy back that weird custard smelling orb after you realize it unlocks the true ending.

@JoBlakely@mastodon.social my avoidance is helped by my phone not reading them, much to my wife's annoyance. I'm curious if there's a correlation between users/non users and age.

@fesshole I hate those exercises and find any excuse to be working instead.

@kenney I went back to Final Fantasy 14 recently after years away and it did give a refresher tutorial! Sadly the HUD did not save my settings so I still had to relearn a lot.
