@tragivictoria@mastodon.catgirl.cloud the sentence immediately before that is what made me think “oh this sounds a lot like LLM output”, but for the screenshot I highlighted the one that seemed like the most obvious smoking gun why should I assume that the rest of the update is lovingly hand-crafted prose, when it ends with an obvious chatbot signature that Miklós Zsitva didn’t even bother to remove?

@ZachWeinersmith Yes! the contrast between the actual piracy shown in Pirates of the Caribbean (once, near the beginning of the first film, when the Black Pearl crew are still the bad guys) and all the “it’s about freedom” rhetoric afterwards is really bizarre when you think about it.
