Algorave

London UK call for performers!

Algorave: deceleration
16th September 2026, Carpet Shop Peckham
A celebration of 17 years of uzulangs on the birthday of TidalCycles

Call for performers - live coding musicians/visualists and their collaborators.
Live coding music will have a focus on uzulangs like Tidal and Strudel, but we might be able to fit in others !
Details unclear, including whether we will charge on the door / be able to pay artists, but it will be run by volunteers only on not-for-profit basis. We'll try to work this out asap!

Our Bandcamp Friday compilation "Compassion through algorithms vol III" raised £2272 GBP, split equally between Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), and Gaza Biennale, a collective project of the Forbidden Museum in the West Bank and artists in Gaza. Many thanks to all who donated, and those who contributed their music.

The compilation is now a free download, as it's more efficient to donate directly to MAP: https://algorave.bandcamp.com/album/compassion-through-algorithms-volume-iii

You can donate directly here: https://www.map.org.uk/

Live code how you want, rules are there for changing, embrace error, reject shame

Just released "Compassion through algorithms volume III" - a huge 55 track album full of really great music and noise from the live coding/algorithmic music community, fundraising to support Palestinian health, dignity and culture. Buy it today (name your price!) and bandcamp will waive their fee.

Hi all, Mudivarti Sreeharsha, known online as 'xyzzy' and 'Harsha' is an IP troll attempting to register the algorave logo as a trademark and control who puts on events, etc.
This is against the open principles of our community and as far as we know, their action isn't supported under the terms of the creative commons license.
We recommend not interacting with or supporting their work.
