- Secured a cataract surgery date and a responsible adult to discharge me from hospital post-op recovery. He might have to bring me back for same day surgeon consultation so it's good he lives eight blocks from the hospital.
- Am gently and comfortably building friendships and reconnecting with newer and longtime local Scrabblers respectively.
- Scored a peak 40 points playing along with my son watching this week's #OnlyConnect

#3GoodThings #ThreeGoodThings Things I did today I am proud of:
- reset the toner drum of the Brother MFC* printer I bought secondhand
- reset the LG clotheswasher that reacted poorly to the DIY Tub Clean solution I applied yesterday
- downloaded, installed, then removed file by file of #Zyzzyva 3.4.2, downloaded, installed version 3.4.1 which does work with my Ubuntu 20.04 system
It's "Wreck and Tech", and I overcame, solo, successfully. @3goodthings@fedigroups.social

My roast chicken turned out perfectly: crispy skin, tender meat that slid off the bone.
-
My kid recognized I had a frustrating day and gave me some coinage so I can use his DQ coupons.
- Successfully loaded a day's worth of audio files on my tablet in preparation for my post-surgery convalescence.
- My friends called, I called my friends. I revel in the blessing of having non-toxic activity friends for conversation.
- Went to a new-to-me Italian bakery for desserts and protein for son's birthday meal.
