Replying to
@bedirthan@dice.camp I gotta say I am liking concerns, but scheming has a certain amount of going forward action associated with it.

Pretty enjoyable read. Money lines at 37-39.

"The truth is, tech doesn’t have an image problem. It doesn’t have a message problem. It has an intention problem. […] When you launch a product that’s designed to put millions of people out of work, block access to sources of verifiable truth, replace human creativity with slop, and lower the barriers to every sort of atrocity, the problem isn’t that you haven’t told the public a good story about those things. The problem is that you are trying to do them." https://www.theringer.com/2026/05/28

Simply gorgeous and seriously crazy way to capture it.

I was a teen during the height of the Cold War. Today feels more frightening to me than anything I can remember from those times. Maybe it’s because I am 60 now, more aware of what’s going on, closer to my own morality. Regardless, at 8pm est something bad will likely happen. I hope it’s something not involving a bomb.

Also, the BP today was about 20 points above the usual. Can’t tell if that is a good thing or bad thing in this environment.
