Won't happen and any protests by community will be seen as unreasonable and if specially for persons of colour, they will instead attribute some blame like not complying or committing a minor crime so public execution is justified & excused.

This is a fight that was lost when everyone jumped head first when walled garden for phones was accepted as the best solution for the industry now almost 20 years ago. Maybe regardless how loyal to a slogan or fruit brand, don't let a duopoly take hold, let competition foster, duopoly is worse than a monopoly as people believe that illusion of choice is all that is needed.
